Local & respected Caroline County artist, Susan Neal, illustrated a collection of 8 children's books that her mother, Margaret Hobkirk Goodwin wrote. They include a 7- book series about two mice, Squeek and Smithers and their adventures, from frolicking at the beach to sharing the joys & gifts of Christmas. Separate from the series, she wrote another book entitled,  A Teddy Bear's Story, about a lost teddy bear who needs help finding his way back home. [Great for children: 5-7 years old]
