The dimensions of the bowl are 12.75" diameter by 4.75" talI. It is made with oak, cherry, poplar, maple, mahogany, and sapele.
Tim has always liked to make things and still does. One of his first projects of note was a chess set designed and turned while in high school. Tim is a retired high school mathematics teacher & summertime carpenter. After raising a family he purchased the same lathe he had used as a high school student in the industrial arts program and went back to woodturning.
He has studied woodturning with David Ellsworth, Bob Rosand, Cindy Drozda, Al Stirt, John Jordan, and others. He is a member of Chesapeake Woodturners, Segmented Woodturners, and the American Association of Woodturners.
